MN UM Builders

The mission of the MN UM Builders is to serve Minnesota United Methodist Churches by assisting them in connecting with their community and welcoming new people.                                        Funds are provided through our semi-annual grants as well as loans for projects such as signage, technology, community gardens, welcoming spaces, accessibility and playgrounds.

Apply for a Builders Call Grant

Thanks to the generous donations of our MN UM Builders members we are able to grant two calls each year. We accept applications from all United Methodist churches across Minnesota. Applications are due March 1st for the Spring Call and September 1st for the Fall Call. 

Recent projects supported by the Minnesota Builders include:

• First UMC, Redwood Falls - repair roof to provide safe and welcoming space
• Faith Church, Farmington - remodel outdated kitchen to be more efficient and useable
• Blooming Grove UMC, Morristown - a new entrance, bathrooms and gathering space
• Rapha Tabernacle of Glory UMC, St Paul - replacement of furnace and hot water heaters
• Path of Grace UMC, Maplewood - retiling and mold removal from an entryway and kitchen area of the day care center
